Resin conditioning, mold and machine setup, process window, first-piece approval, in-process checks and change control must work together every time the part returns to production.

The approved condition is defined per part, resin, mold, cavity, annual demand and customer release requirement.

Release with context

Translate the approved sample into production controls.

The released condition should identify the material, mold, visual standard, critical dimensions, packing and records needed for the next production lot.

At startup
Machine and mold setup followed by first-piece visual and dimensional checks.
During supply
Project-defined inspection, traceability, packing and nonconformance response.

Resin conditioning

Mold + setup identity

Mold, cavity status, machine fit, auxiliary needs and current part revision are confirmed before startup.

Process window

Fill, pack, cooling and cycle controls are established against the actual tool, material and approved part condition.

First-piece gate

Appearance, project-defined critical dimensions and functional checks are accepted before the lot proceeds.

In-process response

Sampling and escalation address drift, defects, material variation, interruption and mold condition during production.

Lot + change control

Inspection records, packing instructions, deviations and engineering changes follow the current released revision.

A stable injection molding process connects the current drawing, exact resin, mold condition, setup basis and first-piece result. The specific parameter window and sampling plan are established for the quoted program.

The exact documents depend on the drawing and customer requirement. These four decisions form the minimum conversation before repeat supply is accepted.

Prevents an old revision or assumed material from silently becoming the production basis.
